It seems to me that the members in this forum can get goodies manufactured for the lovely Benelli and they all do it without profit to themselves. We have Laurence's superb tank protectors, Lloys exhaust hangers and others such as the 'how to' section ie: LED's .... battery replacements etc etc etc.
So it got me thinking.
This forum could be THE place to come for your Benelli goodies. Wether it be tank protectors, tail tidies, exhaust hangers, batteries ... whatever, we seem to be more resourceful than Benelli themselves when it comes to getting these goodies manufactured and delivered.
The thing is, members on this forum do these things out of the love of owning a Benelli and don't make a bean. Yet as the Benelli brand grows there may be a market for this.
So what I'm trying to suggest is this, if you're after a tank protector then ask laurie, an exhaust hanger, then ask Lloyd etc and perhaps (if it's worth it) then let these guys make at least a small profit out of doing this for all the hard work they've done for us. Why not reward these guys for all the hard work that they've put in?
Also if there is anything else that you might think that might be of use then please post it here as you never know 'who might know who' (if that makes sense):D

I hope this make sense (as I've had a fair bit to drink tonight:rollin )but I just wanted to express my thanks to all of those members who have helped in some way or another to enhance the Benelli motorcycle.

Yours (on holiday for a week an permanently drunk) Al:rollin

Many thanks for your kind words Al.

The first batch of Tank protectors seemed quite popular with Tornado owners far and wide, So far, I've sent them to Ireland, USA, Wales, Netherlands and Austria, not to mention Scotland and a few have even been sent to our fellow colleagues in deepest Engerrland. :D

I ran out of the first batch I had made quite quickly but I have just taken delivery of a few more, if anybody's interested.

Hope you have a great week off Al, are you going away anywhere?

Don't mention it Laurence;) All I need to do now is try to get something manufactured that I'd like to see on the Tre just so that I can see just how much hard work goes into all of this:eek
All we need to do is find a premises and open our own little Benelli shop:smokin

Thanks for the back up Big Bad Al.
Anytime Lloyd;) Trust me, I don't think I'm the only one on these forums that really appreciate what you guys have done so far. All of your efforts don't go un-noticed and to be able to tell people the story behind how you got the part is always a good thing rather than 'I bought it down the shops':lol

Thanks again matey and I'll look foward to seeing those piccies soon and placing a cheeky wee order with you me ol' mucker:smokin
