yeh thats cool. im based in oakley nr corby. Only had the bike a few months ,its great.looks awsome. Got one problem with cutting out sometimes,as mentioned in tre section. i can live with it though as a fix is on the way i guess.
wot colour tre u got?.

I've got a green/silver one.

I'm taking it for it's first service on 18/04 and then after that it's going to get a damn good thrashing !

If the weather looks ok and you're going out for a blast after 18/04, give me a shout.

Especially as I'm off work for that week - Corby's a great central place for some nice roads.

The first one is going to be at 3X.

The nearest authorised Benelli Service Centre to Northampton is On yer Bike in Aylesbury (according to KJM) but I want to give 3X the opportunity to check it over as they supplied it.

I've emailed them asking for a mechanic called Sam to work on it (recommended) but haven't heard anything back (ominous sign?).

Then it's play time ! I can meet you any evening up to the 20th May or at the weekend.

How do you ride, 'cos I ain't that quick ?!

just got back on two wheels again after a long time,so i dont race about.like to stay safe,mostly within speed limits.

I got my rs from planet bikes in leicester,and should be taking it back to them when the time comes.they were a benelli dealer,now honda! good bunch of lads.

did you know that taz motorcycles of peterborough sell new benelli,so that might b another option!:smokin

Wey hey, I'm back !

The bike got a first service at 3X (£229 inc vat) - 3 hours labour at £50p.h and consumables, I belted down there and waited while they did it. So far so good. The permanent food van they have outside was excellent (coming from a foodie background) and the service staff were very pleasant. Got to watch the bike being serviced (although not too close) and being cleaned and polished afterwards ! - shame it was filthy again when I got back.

Opened her up a bit on the way home and , boy, is she noisy:eek . Even though I took the revs to about 8,500 only there was a big grin on my face - 3 or 4 drivers screwed their heads round to take a look as I passed them, prove if you need it that you're not riding a jap jelly mould !

I know someone who works p/t at Planet so if you need a quote for something, let me know.

In the meantime, I should be out Monday 1st for a ride if you're about?????

sounds like you had a good run from 3x. yeh the sound from the bike is like a spitfire flying over !!!!

went out for a small run today,about 30miles and it cut out twice again,clutch in 2nd-1st :rolleyes but the looks and rubber necking always makes up for that hope that they will soon find a cure for the cutting out problem,as in tre section(RS cutting out).if you havent read it!

hope the rain will lay off tomo,then should b out for another blast. cant wait:rollin
