Hi,
My name is Jerzy and I am a new owner of classic Benelli 750 sei 76 model.
I am placed in Sydney and last October I bought the bike from ebay.au.This is a nut and bolt resto so no money is spared in order to bring the bike to its finest.
It is good to be part of this forum hoping to get a lot of help from riders enjoying the same passion for Benelli bikes.
Will post some photo as i go along with the resto.
Cheers
Jerzy
The seat's base has been painted fresh and original cover used because the new cover is not as good.
By the way,.....Paint work is already done by Colide a Scope from Sydney. The color is Candy Green.
just finished the front end today(27.09.2013),the front mud guard went for chrome job.
Below: Paying attention to small details now, will be rewarding later on when the bike is finished.
Frame has been powder coated and fitted with roller steering bearings, and some other parts ceramic painted ,chromed or zinc plated.
New bore to the cylinders makes it size 825 cc of capacity.Having all the engine,s parts ready for assembly rebuild soon start to happen.Engine Head has been already painted black.
Wheels have been polished and reassembled with stainless steel spokes.New bearings have been fitted in place.
The next step in order to achieve what will make the engine more powerful is modification to the crankshaft.
(Left)Above, stage 1 and stage 2 of possible modification to Benelli 750 sei crankshaft.(Middle)Shaved and balanced crankshaft for my bike's engine.(Right)Crankshaft washed ready for assemble.
Following the advise from Enrique from Spanish Benelli Club I am using CB 550 Four pistons and rings to fit them into my Benelli 750 sei.
Increased engine cc with modified crankshaft will give hopes for more powerful engine.
Brembo calipers and master cylinder are ready.
