So I need a speedo cable for my 78 SEI 750 and no luck anywhere. I tried ebay but no dice. anywhere to get one in the USA, (I know about Benelli Bauer.) Thanks!

Valve adjustment SEI 750 question:

I took a look at the shop manual and they are using a dial gauge to set the valve clearance. Can this be done using a feeler gauge using specs for a Honda CB 5004 ? (intake 2000/inch, exhaust 3,000 inch) ???

I did a quite check in the manual, I seem to recall it said .005” clearance. But that seems pretty loose.
I will look again and make sure.

I don’t know if I have a spare or not- I will look through my stuff. I have quite a few spares.

HOPEFULLY BARNETT CAN MAKE NEW SPEEDO DRIVE CABLE IF YOU SEND THEM YOUR OLD ONE. YOUR 750 IS REAL NICE. I HAD A RED ONE FROM 1979-82. NOW I AM BUILDING ANOTHER RED ONE. IT WAS A MESS,CRASHED ,BENT,RUSTED .I NEED ENGINE OIL SEALS ,I HOPE BAUER CAN PROVIDE THEM. WERE THEY ABLE TO FOR YOU? PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I BOUGHT JE PISTONS TO INCREASE BORE SIZE . IN 1979 YOU COULD BUY A NEW OIL PUMP FOR A HONDA 500, I HAVEN'T FOUND A NEW ONE YET AND NEED ONE. HARPERS MOTO-GUZZI HELPED WITH THE FORKS REBUILD AND SEALS FOR THE FRONT CALIPERS. LATER
