Here's a sneak look at the new format. Still very much a work in progress so excuse the missing items. I will post updates on this thread when we have them.

It'll have lot's of cool features like owner registeries, picture albums and will be using a vBulletin style forum.

It's looking real good Roland.......can't wait until it's up and running.

It doesn't seem that long ago that you were thinking of shutting it down through lack of interest......changed days indeed;)

I was really impressed with the show at Intermot and the news with regards to Benelli's renewed vigor. I am however still concerned about the reliability of the bikes. Hopefully that will get resolved as the vigor trickles down to the production floor and all the sub standard components get phased out. I have to admit for a while then I was about to give up. :)

I agree hector, there is a wealth of information here, which makes it possible for us learn from the experiences of each other. It makes it easier to own these bikes.

Stick with it Roland.

Absolutely superb!

Will this mean we can post up images without the need to have them hosted elsewhere?

Reason I ask is because I don't have that 'somewhere else' to host them!

looks realy good. Keep up the good work:D :D :D

If the quality of the Benellike bike was just as half as good as the look of your site, I think we could drive 100K without electronical problems, breaking cam chains or wrong treated clutch baskets:lol

ooh yeah..lot's of really cool features.

You can upload pics to the forum without having to host them somewhere else.
Create your own personal album that'll be listed in the the Gallery section
An owner registry and forum member locator map.
The front page will rotate random member pictures from the gallery and list the latest and hottest posts.

:)

Outstanding work Roland.

I can't believe that you were thinking of closing the forum down at one point due to a lack of activity:eek
I'll tell you something matey, this forum has been an absolute life line to me and without it I'd be as lost as a lost thing in lostville:)
I'm really proud to be a member here and as it's been mentioned before, if you need any help keeping this forum up and running by having to charge for a membership ect then I'll gladly help out.
As chief spammer here, I salute you for letting me get away with soooo much drivvle and for letting me abuse your smillies to the max:b :b :b :b :b :b :b :b :b :b

Hi Al,

I see that you still havn't got round to cutting your grass yet:rollin

By the way, I hope that you find that your bike is still in your garage the next time that you go to ride it, now that everyone and their granny knows where it is ;)

Re: Outstanding work Roland

Cheeky bugger Laurence;) Any word on your bike from KJM yet mate? Fingers crossed you don't have to wait too long for it to make it's way back to you:eek:

On a quick side note ....

Roland,
What about the possibility of a sort of online calander where details of bike races (date, series, round etc) could be held?

Would stop me forgeting to watch the AMA superbike series when it's on satellite over here:lol

Re: Outstanding work Roland

Nah, It's still down there Al::rolleyes

Alex email me last week to advise that they were going to start it this week. I've not hassled them yet but I'll be giving them a call soon to find out how it's getting on.

How's yours behaving itself?........ It should be due a visit back down to KJM about now going by its past record;)
