Ladies and Gents .... (are there any ladies on this forum?) ..

I went to pick up my fairing from Bike Paints, Cupar, Scotlandshire yesterday. I had dropped the complete LE fairing off there a few weeks ago to have them apply a coat of paint that sticks, fix the chips and a couple of small marks .... and that is what they have done.

Just for your info ..... they have done a top job on the match and application. Not cheap mind you. The whole fairing and mirrors taken back to the carbon fiber and built back up again came to a total of ÂŁ850 squids .... but what a job. I can thoroughly recommend them if anyone is looking for a good paint shop.

They gave me the original paint to take away in a bag!!! It had come off in sheets .... never seen that since I decorated my first house many moons ago ....

Cheers ....

Lee,

I took a look at your pics and the Altamura web site. It will be stunning when finished.

I went totally standard with mine as I am not as adventurous as yourself ...... but I really like the green anyway.
I had a plan at the beginning of the winter to buy some race plastic and make a track focused Peter Goddard replica, but what with the engine issues I had last year and the need for the original paint to be sorted I have shelved that for at least another year. I will have it for some time I am sure, so there is always next winters project.

Altamura looks like a very professional company. I look forward to seeing the finished article.

Cheers …….
