just finished reading mcn(uk) and compared to the tre road test the bimota db5, gets a proper caning.92 bhp for £15k.(and some thought the tre was underpowered and over priced)
perhaps the financial backers for bimota would consider re-investing their money at benelli,(i wish!).

The db5 is using a outdated aircooled ducati engine if I am not mistaken. Bimota is due for a house cleaning right now and suspect that the next few months will tell if they have a real intent to be a player.

I believe dsign can only take you so far. The performance and pricing issues need to be addressed as well.

Anyone notice that the bimota is sporting some benelli parts? the mirrors and the rear light look very familiar!

My thoughts were that the DB5 looked like a pairing of the Tre and the TnT.

Well no surprise once you see that it was designed by Adrian Morton's ex boss Pierre T.
