Have a 3 year old bn125 have owned it from new.
Since the warranty ended the issues have started, first the bike would cut out when throttle released not fixed yet, next EML came on fault is neutral light switch dealer trying new switch and they have told me it’s lost oil, it has not leaked and is not burning it as no black smoke.
Has anyone any ideas?

Update just got bike back after 10 weeks with dealer, after a 3 mile journey the EML has come back on. The dealer knew there was little oil in bike it’s detailed on invoice got it back with little oil and rattle from top of engine, possible valve needs adjustment this is also detailed as done on invoice

My son had the same problem. Eventually diagnosed with low compression. on removing the cylinder head it was found that one exhaust valve had burnt away, obviously a manufacturing fault as the other valves were perfect. benelli won't admit to it being a manufacturing fault. there must be other bn 125s out there with this same fault. There must have been a bad batch of valves from the supplier. My son now has a motorbike in pieces that he cannot use and is still paying for. I would advise people to steer clear of these bikes.
