It's around $15,000 in the US plus on road. They want even more in Australia, over $26,000 plus on road. That's nearly twice the price of a small car  Still, they've presold the first batch of 150 in OZ already so there must be something in it
The motor is a Rotax V twin based on the same lump as the Aprilia Mille and puts out in standard form around 100bhp. This combined with a dry weight of around 316kg means it's not as quick as any decent sports bike. Not sure whether it's just my motorcycle reflexes talking but it didn't feel as though it would be as quick as a bike through corners either.
It's a bit like riding a big quad or the most stable outfit you've ever ridden. With no lean, the G forces generated on fast turns are amazing. You just don't get this sort of a pounding on a bike, very addictive There's also a disconcerting sideways rocking over bumps which is freaky until you get used to it. Everything is computer controlled too, there's traction control, stability control, ABS and active power steering. I reckon that the only thing that will let you down on the road when riding it is your nerve.
