Finally had time to collect the carbon fibre bodywork that Peter Wack (real name!!!!!) at http://www.carbon.sk supplied me earlier this year. I also bought a damaged Cafe Racer seat pod from E_bay
Sent it down to Darren at http://www.oldboyart.co.uk who had instructions to make sure I could see the carbon weave and it also had to be the same red as origional paintwork!!!! And the famous words " I`ll leave it up to you mate" !!!!!!
In no time at all he was on the phone telling me it was ready:clap:
WOW!!!

Who told Darren that Benelli`s had a problem with peeling paintwork!!!:rolling: :rolling:
Anyhow I love it and the pictures don`t do his work justice at all.
The folds look like they are above the red base, shadowed and not symetrical. PERFECT.
Some may not like it but everyone who has seen it in the flesh has loved it.

Also done a few other mods recently like the hydraulic clutch from http://www.evoluzione.net/

Discacciati Radial master cylinders from http://www.carpimoto.it

with Earls braided stainless hoses from http://www.earls.co.uk/earls/
and a set of one off Stealth wave discs from stealth Products http://www.stealthproducts.co.uk/index.php

What next?????? Watch this space

Dave, can I be nosey and ask how much the Hydraulic conversion cost?

It could be an option if I decide this machine is staying with me next year!

Evoluzione clutch slave and hose

Hi

I've got one of these for sale if anyone wants it - I fitted it, but the mastercylinder I had had no switch. This was fine until I got the starter motor upgrade - it will spin the starter if you press the button with the clutch in! Anyhow, I've got the slave and a braided hose in good nick if anyone wants it - drop me a line at [email protected]. Also standard and Hagon rear shocks, and standard forks for the right money.

Hi Andy,
Slave cylinder cost me about £99. hose made to measure from Earls £25 the radial discacciati master cylinder was about £180 this has a stop switch built in and has the option of a mirror mount if required.

Nice Looker

NOW THAT LOOKS REALLY GOOD DAVE GOOD WORK...
WELL MINE IS OFF TO RUSTY RUSS ON THE 27TH FOR A BIT OF CLUTCH WORK, AND WHILE IM THERE HE CAN HAVE A LOOK AT THE MOTOR AND THEN TELL YOU Y ITS SOO FAST.
THE OTHER SUNDAY I JUST GOT 160MPH AT 9500RPM IN 5TH THEN I CLICKED INTO 6TH THEN I SAW 164MPH BUT THEN RUN OUT OF RUNWAY.
, SO IT WAS RUNNING WELL:clap:
I THINK IT WILL DO 170 AT 9500RPM IN TOP SO NEXT FINE DRY DAY I THINK ILL TAPE UP THE SHOULDERS ON THE LEATHERS AND HAVE A GO. MY MATE WITH A BLADE IS GETTING WORRIED NOW....... MMMMM GOOD TO SHOW THE JAPS, THE EXHAUST A BIT.
ONLY PROB I HAVE NOW IS THAT I NEED MORE SPONSERSHIP FOR NEXT YEARS RACING AND IF IT DONT COME, THEN THE TNT WILL HAVE TO BE SOLD:bawl: :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: I HOPE NOT BUT NEEDS MUST.
SO HAVE A WORD IF U NEED A BIT MORE POWER BUT NOT AT THE EXPENSE OF THE MOTOR GOING BANG

power

the results of the dyno work and they are at phantom but i dont have a copie...
power wise its at 125 at the back wheel and i belive the torque is a big improvment to a standard...
like i say have a word with rusty after the 27th if its a nice day ill ride it there and if its shite then the van will be have to come out....
the clutch well its strange if i warm the bike up and take it easy for a couple of miles it seems ok, but after iv stopped for a few min, then ride away it will slip mostly round the 5thou mark..
i must say i do ride the bike hard very hard but clutch should be good at 5thou miles...
the man in barnsley will sort it out...
well im off on holiday in an hour to check out the mountains in spain
