Having high-jacked Borat's thread on seat covers, I thought it best to start a new thread regarding tank covers, in Benelli colours, which will take the Baglux range of tank bags.
Universal bags are either magnetic; no good for our Nellies; or strap-on affairs which can cause cosmetic damage; so a Baglux system would fit the bill. Some while ago, however, Baglux told me they would not be making one for Tornado's - ever.
Last year, I contacted LICS, who were planning to make just such a thing, with leather and vinyl options. However, after numerous phone calls and e-mails to them, during which they told me what good progress they were making with it, they never ever called me back, and no covers materialised. I gave up on them when they missed the deadline for the Highland Gathering in May.
The thought now is to find another upholsterer who may be prepared to make them.
Interested? If so, post away, we can get an idea of numbers, and, between us, maybe come up with somebody to make them, at a sensible price. No reason why they couldn't be made for TNT's, Tre K's etc as well.
I know there is a type which has a rigid base, and bolts on to the fuel filler, but they look very small, whereas a Baglux tankbag holds sufficient for a weekend away.
