Are any of you going to the Donnington MotoGP on the 2nd July.

Can you kindly advise re ticket availability and prices.

I would like to catch up with any of you who may be going.

I'll be going to the GP but not going on the bike after last years performance with rain (oh how i remember being soaked to the skin and beyond!!). I've managed to blag a corporate box ticket for the weekend and intend to camp at the track with a mate. There are still tickets available from Ticketmaster.co.uk and i think they are about £40.00 for the raceday. If you are going to make it get in touch and we can meet up.

Just been off the phone to the nice people at Donnington who are going to send me an email with a list off all the packages that the do for the MotoGP I'm very interested in the 'posh' bits that they do so I'll have to wait and see what they include. They said the email should be with me in around half an hour.

I will be going to Assen on the 24th and was thinking of hoping over to the UK while in Europe and am thinking that a double GP viewing may be good for the soul

when you heading down Me and a couple of my mate will be heading down on Thursday 30th sometime after breakfast, probably leaving Stirling at around 10 - 10.30 ish we will be camping at the circuit as its the only way to get the full atmosphere of the weekend, we normally come back up on the Monday morning, but as one of my mates fly's of on holiday on the Monday we will probably be heading back up on the Sunday night. Let me know!!!!!

With my bike (hopefully) going to be ready for next week then I have to say that Donington is looking more and more likely I'm 99% sure that I'll have to work on the Saturday though so I may just be there for the Saturday night piss up and the race on Sunday. Once I know for certain then I'll let you all know.
Anybody got a spare place in their tent in return for a bellyfull of beer?:lol

On the day ticket prices are as follows

Friday £15.00
Saturday £22.00
Sunday £60.00

I have a spare weekend ticket with camping available to the highest bidder!!!:eek

Be warned this is how most of us looked on the Saturday morning last year0] , with my head feeling something like this:rollin

Al, I'm taking a 2 bed tent as it's the only one i've got so you're welcome to crash out if you want. The mate I'm going with owns a pub so there should be plenty of beer & lager flowing and he's sleeping in the van (snores for england and be exiled there to give everyone else a chance of getting a little sleep!!) So mate if you need it it's there just let me know and I'll give you my phone number to help you find us.

PS bikes gone in again for more panels last ones lasted 5 weeks before peeling again, Russ from Bennetts is suggesting to Benelli that he sends them to dream machine to get them painted properly, I'll let you know the outcome>:

Just been of the phone to Brian at KJM and it's looking likely that the bike will be ready for me on Friday providing the parts turn up in the next couple of days:b I really hope that everything goes to plan as I'm really starting to like the sound of this wee mini meet:lol
I'll probably miss the practice on the Friday but I'll be up for a bevvy session with you guys when I get there. Better get the camera batteries charged, dig the rucksack and sleeping bag out and see if I can find my portable dialysis machine as I think I'll need it:lol
