Hi All,

I own a 2006 1130CR which has the clip ons and the earlier smaller diameter forks.

I have a chance to purchase a 2010 TNT 1130s...the reason is because:

• I want to convert to handle bar setup (donor bike will have ALL the parts)
• I can swap the thick fully adjustable forks
• 2010 bike has the bigger radial brakes

My plan is to swap over the parts I need and replace the donor bike with what I don't and then sell it on again (it comes out cheaper this way). FYI the donor bike is not in a road registerable state.

My question is:
1 - Can I swap the fork handle bar assembly over?
2 - what is involved?
3 - do both bikes share the same frame?
4 - Any other parts I should swap over?

I see no reason that it wouldn't all swap straight over. Where in Aust are you? I am in Tassie, Nigel.

@tractorman - I bought the bike!....I am in Sydney. Planning to do a tassie ride when I finish the conversion. Prob do it in September/October?
