Looking at the front left fork leg today after a ride, I noticed a dirty area that looked like it was the result of fluid. Sure enough, there was oil on the backside of the leg near the bottom. Upon closer inspection, it looks as if the compression damping adjuster is leaking. Anyone had this problem or know of a fix (other than taking the whole thing apart that is...)

had exactly the same problem...
Unfortunately there's no magic fix to my knowledge and i have to change the fork's seals and hoping that it'll suffice :(
You need to keep a tight eye on it and act quickly before the small stains turn into a major leak.

Front end problem

By seals I assume you mean the offending seal at the compression adjuster? Do you know how much/what type of oil needs to go in the folk when I have finished? I am assuming that when I pull off the offending leaky bit that all the oil will drain out...
