On a recent jaunt I sampled some speeds in the upper regions of the bikes limits, changing from 5-6th the bike just seemed to be in overdrive this reminded me of my old RSV. I think the bike is overgeared and could do with a few teeth on the rear sprocket anyone thinking the same???
The rear sprocket is the smallest ive ever seem on a big bore bike.

Hey Wosser, maybe they have got them mixed up. There's not an extra large one on the front by any chance  :rolling:

A lot of riders are going down 1 tooth on the front and up 2-3 or more teeth on the rear sprocket.

The Italians seem to gear their bikes for warp speed....I usually gear down but even then can get a top speed up to 140-150mph....

Getting the bike geared down will really help usable power delivery too....the bike will be much quicker and much faster at usable sppeds even though the absolute top speed will be less...

After all, who needs a bike to go over 150mph on the street any way????
