OOOOh sh........t Zebo made good guess, but he forgot to mention that we all get, next to a upgraded trouble free TRE, also a new TNT as compensation for all the problems we've had the last 2 year. Within Benelli this projekt is known as the "Benelli ambassadors" projekt.

"Benelli Announcement Jan 2006" ... Benelli apologises to all owners for the lack of reliability with it's motorbikes. As a gesture of compensation all registered keepers will receive a hand-crafted Italian bumbag (waistpack) to keep their tool kits in. . Early examples have been sent back because the straps broke.

Benelli was unavailable for comment but hinted that a new version would be ready in 2008.

Benelli - New owner, same story ?

I met my dealer at the MCN London Motorcycle Show last weekend. Without going into too many details he left the clear impression that Benelli does not seem to have changed their customer service attitude and readyness to cooperate under the new management. I can hardly believe that there will be any recalls. To me it seems Benelli just sit's and waits until the 2y warranty of the vast majority of the bikes is over. Let's see...
