Cheers with all the help on my last post guys!!
Headlight bulb started flickering under accelaration then eventually went out (in the dark on an unlit road!!) When I was nearly home the headlight came back on. Gave the bike a hard rev when stopped - light out again. Will not come back on now - anyone heard of this and more importantly, Whats the easiset way to change the headlight bulb!!! Thanks:confused:

A blown bulb will never come back on, when it's dead it's dead. Most likly cause is lose connectors to the back of the bulb, pull back the rubber dist seal and have a look to see if the connectors secure.

Actually, a blown incandescent bulb CAN come back on if the filament is broken at the post. If the filament swings around enough, it can touch the post again and weld itself back onto it. It is seldom done well though, and will fail a second time. It's even possible to repeat this performance, but the likelihood decreases each instance, as the filament shortens every time.
So, first thing to do is replace the bulb.
If the same thing happens again, you've probably go a broken wire, more than likely near the bulb connector.
