I've done over 50,000km, and never cleaned them. Fuel economy has been steadily getting worse over the last 12 months, so I suspect a cleanup is due. Trouble is, I've never owned a fuel injected engine before, and have no experience with them.

What do you guys use?
What's the procedure?

Hi Errol, I've always just used the fuel injector cleaner you pour into your tank and never had any problems, I've never had them cleaned mechanically so I can't compare this method against anything else.
sorry.

I'm thinking my injectors may be so gummed up, that putting a can of injector cleaner in the tank won't cut it.
