Got mine delivered today with 10 miles on the clock and by the time it got to 50 miles, the oil light came on!
You have an oil light ?
Mine has a red LED error light in the tacho. The dash displays what the error is - oil, H2O, or Bat.

If that LED came on, and the dash displayed 'Oil', you definitely had a fault.
Why ?
Was the oil level too low ?
Did the pressure sensor become disconnected ?
Did the ECU light come on as well ?

I went back in the garage wgen the wife had gone to bed (yes, I know!) and put the key in and put the ignition on and the little red light gave rapid flashes adn OIL came up on the digi display. I have not done a eyesight test on the level yet.

That's normal, but it should go out when you start the bike.. :)
