I've looked around extensively for suspension upgrades for the trail version. I've only found progressive spring upgrades. I've even inquired to the company supplying said springs about why they only offer a shock for the street version. Answer was, they just don't. Anyone have knowledge otherwise? If you happen to have a street version, could you measure the length of the shock, mounting point to mounting point? I'll do the same for my trail and post it here. All info about the differences of the two is minimal, contradictory, or vague. Thanks

The street shock is shorter than the trail shock, but I don't know by how much. YSS makes a shock for the base Leoncino that is adjustable length. Model MZ456-325TRL. It has +/- 5mm height adjustment. However, by replacing the bottom eye with a longer threaded eye you could get an even longer shock. OR, you can order the MZ456-350TRL, which has the same specifications but is about an inch longer. (325mm and 350mm are the lengths of the shock eye to eye).

Unfortunately I do not know the stock shock length for a trail or a standard, you'd have to take a measurement with the shock off the bike.

On a similar vein, and being a recent Leoncino 500 owner. Is it possible to lower the beast by screwing the rear shock collar up a tad ?
