Well I finally got the bike back together after working out my starting problem and decided to go on a local test ride.
Couldn't believe how easy it is to ride and the lovely torque it has.
Anyhow it was a good job I didn't go far because just a couple hundred metres from home the rear brake seized up.
But I enjoyed every moment up till then.

How does a rear brake seize up?
I don't really know what caused it. I have cleaned around the caliper and master cylinder and check to make sure the brake pedal is not solid. Hopefully next ride will be trouble free. 😀

On a separate issue, what's the standard length of the side stand. I feel mine as been shortened and needs the length of it increased again.

Thank you very much. I have to sort it as I keep thinking the bikes falling over 🤣
I shortened mine as the one fitted kept the bike far too straight .
