.... until I get my bike back. I spoke to Glen at KJM and got an update on my bike.
So far, my new rims have been put on, both core plugs will be replaced, a stick coil replaced, rear lens replaced, mirrors replaced, a mod done to the chain guard carried out, tickover raised a little to see if that helps with the cutting out problem, rear suspension relubed and a general going over to make sure that everything is tickityboo will be done. No parts have had to be ordered from thhe factory so I'm hoping that in the next week then I should have her back ... just in time to pop in and visit Lloyd:lol

I was meaning if you are sure that this trophy would be yours.

Me waiting since March for parts that are a joke (worm drives for the dry clutch springs) being one of the most serious candidates.

I got a call from Alex at KJM today to let me know that my bike will be back with me tomorrow:b :hat I just hope that it stays dry because I'm dying to try it out with my new carbon rims on. Knowing my luck it'll piss it down:rollin

Pics of the new wheels will be on here tomorrow:b

Sure:) It's died down to a mild drizzle so I'll go find the camera, wheel the bike out and take a couple of happy snaps to stick on here.
Back in a mo;)

Well I managed to get a couple of pics before the batteries died in the camera but they didn't turn out that good (a wee bit dark so I've had to lighten them using photoshop).

When the bike got dropped off to me I was told that Glen from KJM took her for a test ride after he'd fixed her and had said that it handles nothing like the bike used to. He said it handled more like an R1, but seeing as I haven't ridden an R1 before then that means nothing to me. I'm just hoping that over the course of the next few days we get some good weather so that I can try them out for myself;)

I have been warned to be very careful as the handling is a wee bit on the sharp side:eek

Having had a bigger rear sprocket fitted to make her pull a wee bit quicker wouldn't help either:lol
