>: >: >: >: I,m getting my tnt back tommorow after some warranty work, new battery box because the original had melted due to the heat shield being to short and a new sub frame rail due to corrosion, however this work has cost me 250 quid and 8 weeks without a bike because when the bike went in it was found that Benelli sent a battery box but no new heat shield, so dealer has to have one made, even though parts have been at dealer for 6 months, then i find i have to pay to have the alarm completly disconected and re-soldered due to the suppling dealer fitting the alarmthrough the battery box. while the bike was there it was discovered that the other sub frame rail needs replacing but guess what, Benelli havn,t got any yet. 95% sure i,m going to get a different bike next year untill Benelli can sort out their parts, supply and customer service.>:
p.s Sorry for the rant.

Hector, sorry for your problems I’d convinced myself (and the wifey) that it's now safe to order a new tnt sport for the spring (who was I kidding)......spares and warranty are obviously still a big, big problem… now I’m thinking straws and camels if you know what I mean, I have been pretty lucky with my TNT and have had about 20months (14000miles) without a major breakdown! Without backup and spares will I be so lucky with the next one………what to do, what to do….mmmmmmm. :\

Hector to sum it up, I think benelli bikes are sooo good looking and the 1130 motor is soooo quick that I am more than willing to put up with the quirky problems we have all experienced it gives the bike a personality. The real problem here is not reliability it’s the after sales..... To have confidence we all need to know that spares are available within say 2 weeks from order and assurances that factory warranty support is available should we need it (respecting the great efforts most of our dealers are making on our behalfs) If only Benelli knew how much sales they were losing through lack of factory support, my worry is that I think China have had control long enough that we should be seeing a difference, since the take over we have seen major model developments, upgrades to components etc,etc which is all very encouraging………but has the standard of support/spares availability improved?....Unless you can tell me different I don’t think so…….will the support/spares part of benelli ever be taken seriously…………please convince me.
