Anyone ever tried one of these on the Tornado?

powercommmander

Hi Philbrian

Had one fitted to my RS by a company called
Dynomap down in Exeter, Devon. They specialise in Italian bikes.

Re: powercommmander

fitted one to my TNT same engine but a bit more cc's..... slightly smoother and the "accelerator pump" makes a noticable difference (performance :D and fuel consumption :( )
they really come into there own after fitting de-restricted exhaust systems and better airfilters as you can make fine adjustments to get the best from the fuel managment system....but as with most bolt-on's remember they only improve upto high mid range, the top end is not affected/improved......there also very easy to fit and programe.

powercommander

Hi Philbrian

It gave a smoother curve plus about 4-5bhp gain with
the factory sport exhaust.
Also had a bit of hesitation around 5k which it cured.
The guy's at Dynomap made the commander for the
Benelli from a triumph unit as we couldn't get one for the Ben at the time.

Re: powercommander

I had a look at one of those but to be honest I don't know if I would notice the difference on the road. I would perhaps save your money and put it towards something more noticable .... like a set of carbon fibre wheels perhaps;) ;)
