Does anybody know if any Benelli bikes leave the factory with km's on the clock .??
l know it seems like a stupid question, but l am in the throws of discussions (argument) with the bike dealer that l purchased my 2007 Cafe Racer, because it has additional km's on the clock that they claim is from the factory.
Can anyone help out ..??

P.S as a new member the threads have been a well a information - thanks

Hi Forrest,

Welcome to the club. I hope you have a good time here and for all ENJOY your BENELLI.

I know that every Benelli is tested. This test is more a shake down than a long endurence test. I don't know how many miles or km's your benelli had on the clock, but it could not be more than 30 km. (or there must be something wrong during the shake down. In that case they have to tested it again, and again and again:rolling: We all know that the chance something is wrong with a Beneli is rather high:doh: )

You're right. The latetst models have less problems yhan the early ones.

One year ago I became a nwe engine from the factory. i run it in the rough way. see: http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm

I my case it worked out perfectly. No engine trouble at all, no oil use, etc.:ele: The only problem is the capacity of the battery when the engine is hot, (there is so much compression):rolling:
