Saddle fiddling

Right.....

1) Put key in keyhole under pillion seat
2) Turn to the right
3) Whilst turning you may need to press down on the seat pad
4) Pull seat backwards and up
5)Voila

If it doesn't work try pressing seat in a different place...seems to depend on which way the wind is blowing as to whether I need to push the seat down or not

Re: Saddle fiddling

That's the passenger seat - I can remove that, it's easy as you describe. But how do you get the rider's saddle off? The front one. Cheers.

Lock

You turn the key to the right to remove the riders seat....

....and left to remove the pillion seat

Try pushing it down more towards the tank end

Re: Lock

Hi Philbrian,

Sorry for being a bit anal about this but I suppose it depends on how you are looking at the lock.;)

If you are standing on the side of the bike that has the lock fitted, follow Nique's instructions. If you are at the other side of the bike looking over at the lock then the instructions should be reversed.

The best way to remember is just to turn the key in the direction of which seat you want to remove i.e towards the front of the bike to remove the riders seat and towards the back to remove the pillion:D
