Just finished a restoration on a 500 LS bought as a lockdown project March 2020. Got it delivered in May. It was a Spanish import without a NOVA but managed to get this at zero cost with the help of a dating letter from the Benelli Club. Didn't do a full strip down but dropped the sump, removed clutch outer cover etc and cleaned all the old oil and residue out. Fitted ned Boyer ignition and coils, did a ton of rewiring, new stainless spokes, new rims and tyres, brand new 4 into four exhaust, brand new seat, tank and side panels restored and painted, rear brakes overhauled, front master cylinder and calipers overhauled and generic handlebar switches fitted and wired in. Cleaned the carbs and passed it all over to Selwyn for set up and timing.
Dating certificate supplied by the Benelli Club and got V5c from DVLA in early December. Been sitting in the garage since then waiting for good weather and lock down to cease.
