zxpman6r, It's a pain in the arse init. :doh: I have the understanding that if you adjust the ride height it will compromise the rear suspension. All the lads i ride with have suggested stablisers or blocks of wood nailed to my boots!!!:rolling:
It's not the correct way to do it, but it worked for me (I'm 5'6").
Drop the fork legs through the triple clamps 10mm.
Move the rear pre-load adjusting nuts down 10mm.
Handling is still fine. Travel is slightly reduced, but you didn't need it anyway, 'cos being smaller you'll also (hopefully) be lighter. I should set the sag, but haven't.
One thing though, the bike will not lean as far on the side stand. So, have a look here for the way to get around that.
