I just returned from my first service on both the biposto and the LE at Taz and I must say they were a joy to visit. First off the service guy, Shaun, knows teh Tornado. he answered loads of questions and let me watch most of the service. He was most probably the best service tech I have dealt with. Further, the gentleman at the service desk, Nigel was a top bloke. He kept us in coffee, tea, and a cold drink and preped a mille and a Tuono for us to have a good go on. BTW that Tuono is a crackin ride!!!!!! Anyway, Shaun showed me a few things that need noting. First, the center cylinder where the spark coil goes into needs to be siliconed in as water drains from the airbox directly onto and down it rusting it out. Second, new fuel maps were sent out two weeks ago. They loaded them with an Axion, or however you spell it, machine. Anyway, had a great experience with them and wanted to pass it on. Kudos to Taz!!!! BTW the have a free Dyno there every once in awhile if you are interested.

Unsure

Ahh we are all friends here so by all means answer away. I am not sure how often they do the dyno. Give a holler up there on the phone and let them know I was raving about them.

That is good new's, shame it's a touch too far for me! I have a specialist around the corner from me, but have heard mixed reviews. Anyone else know of a good dealer my way(Wiltshire)?

Thanks Lost soul, That's up by Hatfield I think. Def alot closer than peterborough. Could be worth it. Incidentally i have today spoken to a chap with his own garage where i live and he has suggested a chap that owns a benny himself and does servicing. It's just around the corner from me and he's spot on by all accounts. Gentleman called John I believe. Hoping he's registered on here! lol

Finally

Ahhh finally someone asked...Okay, so there I was..

I had flown an American flag for Colin Edwards on 34 combat missions while I was in the desert. So I take a chance and go up on Friday to give it to him. I do and I end up with full premium passes to the paddock area and have breakfast and lunches in the team hospitality setup with Colin and Valentino. No shit. I spent an hour in their garage with Davide Brivio, the manager talking about bikes and our first ones and what we ride now and endless other stuff. Was an amazing day on Friday. Met Makoto Tamada, Hayden and Stoner. A few others to include Britains own Bradley Smith. Was a crackin time!!!!

I'll be there, but will be going in a motor with a few friends from Northants - great as my driver is tee-total and she can bloody drive!

Won't be getting there until Saturday though!

Who is the 'she' driver then Andy??? ;)
'She' is my old next door neighbour from the Mess when I was based over in Monchengladbach.

She is soon off to Afghanistan, so gonna go with a few of her friends for the weekend and give her a good send off!
