TnT starter gears

Hey, The TnT starter motor drive gears are being replaced free in the TnT's but I think the 900 could benefit from them also, I remember thinking (three years ago) when I first rode a Tornado, I thought the starter ratio was not quite right.

I think it would fix the resetting trip meter & clock, as the starter motor wouldn't use up all the electricity trying to get the engine over compression.

It'd be an interesting experiment, I'm prepared to do a set of the gears at half price if anyone wants to try it? (when I can get my hands on some!)

I thought Benelli had fixed the gear lever rubber situation with the RS.... obviously not. Stoney Creek Power Sports (SCPS Aust importers) will replace the gear lever under warranty, I'll check with the factory first to confirm that the new stock that I order is improved.

On all my race bikes, I trim the rubber right off and file grooves into the pedal, the same as the LE model; I prefer the gear lever that way but I'm sure the rubber covered item would offer better foot-wear protection?
