Hi all,

Well, she's back and well again. Coil sticks replaced, nasty horrid burning catalytic converter thing removed and generally fettled by Russ and she's transformed    . Idles consistently, always, pulls cleanly from 2K and spins up from above 3K so fast it's not true. Can't say what it's like at big throttle openings coz you don't get chance! And without the cat it sounds bleedin' fantastic. Thanks Russ. Top job! :D

Not sure where you take it but I'd make sure they KNOW the Axone will talk Benelli. It seemes some think they will then discover that actually they won't. MGB simply don't seem to train, advise or support the dealers very well, or even at all. As ferret says, Bennetts will definitely make a difference.

Good luck,

Ash

I’m in the same position as you are. I got my Trek about 3 months ago from a dealer 200 mile from where I am (Chelmsford Essex). The bike is now due for its first service so I called Russ last week to find out about it being collected and returned once all the work was done. There are a couple of other guys in the south that Russ was going to collect their bikes. The cost of the delivery service would then be split. If you are interested in this, then give Russ a ring but he did say to me that this wouldn’t happen until around the first week of September due to the work load.
Cheers
Roy.

Ferret,
you guys in England have got it so good.
in all of South Australia, there's no one selling any Benelli's at all!:bawl:
(except for a 150cc scooter:rolling: )
the state dealer's only spares are oil filters!
at least they have an Axone and someone who knows how to use it, but not a single gasket or spare!:bawl:
owning a TNT is becoming an act of faith!:D
Cheers.

Ferret,
At least Ely isn't too far from London/Germany/or somewhere else that you can get your bike to, if things get really desperate!
For any serious work on my TNT(may nothing ever go wrong!), I'd probably be shipping the bike to Melbourne(800 kms away).
I'm still puzzled as to how your bike isn't yet running right.
Hope the problem gets found soon!
Cheers.

mine's already in the workshop with everything done except mapping. They tried a couple already but it wasn't quite right, so they're keeping it for another day or so, fitting my GPR pipe :D and hopefully, all will be well. There's no doubt about their commitment :)

Thumbs up for the guys at Harry Nash. Took a few days but now running sooo much better and the zorst sounds, well...OMG! :ele: Have to get used to the throttle to ensure smooth progress as its a little bit switch like, either on or off and when its on it tries to rip my arms off :rolling:

fruitbat . was in harry nash other day they were raving how your bike runs .due to new map they installed . think they were well behind in getting the updates from the people who send them through to dealers . bloody love the north south divide greedy bastards lol.

anyway there now in the 21st century with the maps . even though martin without being given the new maps was able to make our bikes run perfect anyway .

sending my trek in asap posss for the update as the one the factory installed in pesero is shite . but .very economical .well anything over 20mpg is eco to me .

glad you happy with the guys there . worth every penny and pound . oops its pounds in the south and pennys up north .
