You can make your own.
25 mm length of white pvc water over flow pipe 25 mm i/d 28 mm o/d.
cut 16 mm out of the side. to slide down the fuel elbow.
cut two more8 mm collars and glue them to the outside , with pvc jointing glue.
squeeze on those when glued on to compress the two release clips.
It wont make them last any longer , they will fail with age , and if your dont take care , you will break the 90 elbow.

Still a shit idea from Benelli though

This is the bit of plastic , Benelli give you in the tool kit
Its a bit of plastic pipe with a collar on, you squeeze the collar to depress the release clips.
whilst supporting the tank , pulling off the two drain pipes and unplugging the wiring.
any bit of tube will do, if you want a coloured one use underground black or blue water pipe.

one of these should fit, multiple sizes in pack for under £7 . Same principle as benelli

This set is cheaper at £4.79 , but comes from china. Uk sellers will sell the same but just add a margin to the price.

Surely I'm not the only person who just used my fingers to pinch the clips then slides the connection out ? ..
Mind you £7 for all those is a good deal 👍

No Rick, You're not the only person to do it that way. I used to do that until someone donated a special tool. But then I put a quick connect coupling so now it's even easier.

Cheers,

check to see if the tabs are still attached to the bottom of the tank, cos the tool is no good if there broken off. I sent mine to a guy in Australia for free.
