Hi all, what pressures should a rear tyre on a tnt be, the brief bit of paper you get with the bike says 36 psi but the cd rom says 32 psi ?

tyre pressure

Hi Hector, I have had many bikes over the years and still have a sv 1000s (trying to sell) and a Honda vtx 1800. both bikes require over 36 psi in the tyres, so I would go for the higher pressure, a good indication of the front tyre being to soft is "cupping" if you run your hands over the tyre in a forward direction it feels smooth, but if you run your hand in a reverse direction you will feel high edges on the tread (hard to explain) also soft tyres sometimes develop small cracks inside the root of the tread. I run 2 psi above recommended pressure and find the mt o1's superb.

Tyre pressures

I have posted something on tyres pressures for the Tornado before; I think the TNT would also be applicable.
