Well, after being convinced to meet up with Lloyd at Boxhill this morning, I am so glad I dragged myself out of bed this morning.

What an excellent day, sun was shining, roads weren't too busy and a good round trip of about 180 miles was covered!

Lloyd, it was good to put a face to the screen name, the trip to Brighton was good, a nice leisurely ride down via Red Dogs, so I now know where they are!

I am still imagining some of the views that we saw in Brighton (and I don't mean the scenery!), lots of 'Twin Peaks' out there today.

The ride home along the coast was uneventful, but at least the bike is running as sweet as!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully there will be other clear and not to cold days over the coming winter, now all we need to do is get a few more Forum members to get their bikes sorted and out of the dealers (or should that be stealers?)

I really wish I had my bike back so that I could meet up with you guys on the ride outs:( After speaking to KJM a day or so ago they told me that my carbon rims had been fitted and that they've had to remove the chain guard because of some bolt that was getting in the way. They are waiting on a few bits coming over from the factory so I hope it's not too long before I'm back on the road again.
We will all have to have a BIG meet next year (Donnington MotoGP perhaps?) so that we can at least put faces to names:p ;)

Al, no matter how much JD you feed me, there is no way you are getting anywhere near putting your face near my name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rollin

But as I am now back in the UK for good (well at least until I am out of the mob) the chances to meet up will be easier for me. Donnington sounds good, central for most of us, and i can just take the bike to work in London that week so it will be closer for me to get there. I am sure there will be a few others around who will join in!

I guess this post has come to a grinding halt, what with the news of Lloyd's 'off'!!!!!!!!!

Boy am I feeling low now!

Things happen Andy and there's nothing we can do about it. Fate is fate and what happened to Lloyd was not your fault.
Stories of riders down are not nice to hear but at least he's still with us, so that's the main thing.
If and when I pick my bike up from KJM I might see how far it is from Wigan to the hospital where Lloyd will be at the time and pop in and visit him whilst I'm down that neck of the woods.

Al;)

You will still be looking at the best part of 300 miles down to Maidstone... if he is moved back home. If he is still stuck in Eastbourne you had better make that around 350 I think!
