I know Angus drives trucks, Johnny flies planes, Lloyd fixes bikes and Bob spies on people, but thats about it... Does anyone do anything else really interesting for a job?

For the record, I don't... I am an IT techie at IBM <yawn>

I currently work for Bank of Scotland. Ooops make that HBOS. No, hang on a minute, it's now Lloyds. Oh stuff it........ I work for a Bank.

I work for sky tv,not the most glamorous but keeps me in tyres and fuel

I am going to regert this but you asked

I work as a self employed Business / IT Consultant and Project Manager.

e.g. I am someone companies bring in when they want to upgrade / change there systems and they want it to be successful !!! Then of course the kick me out.

Makes for an interesting life and lots and lots of travelling and stress. It also means in these tight financial times work is a little bit lacking. Mind you I went self employed so I could get more time off

By the way my background was as an engineer - Hence the love of Italien Engineering - Ever tried Changing the Altenator on a Fiat X19 -

Odd one this, I deal in refurbished ex hospital ultrasound scanners, beleive this or not, mainly to vets. cover the UK, normally use the car (when it works) but sometimes a bike, so maybe I'll get the RS out on some local calls this year.

Sell the scanners, train vets how to use them, soft tissue, cardiology and of course pregnancy scans, so if any of you have pets, get your vets to invest in quality ex hospital scanners!

cheers, Fraser

i work for bmw delivering car parts & i'm busy as f##k cos bmw drivers can't drive in the snow & crash them!!!!!!!!! oh yeah & the women that drive mini's are good at crashing too :rolling:
not exciting but like someone else said it pays the bills

I work at a Health Spa as the maintenance and estate manager. 60 bedrooms, 36 treatment rooms, 2 pools, gym, etc etc etc
Perks: surrounded by beauty therapists
Cons: 50% of the guests are old or fat!!!! the other 50% are married:rolling:

Its a tough job but someone has to do it!!!!

As Borat(Colin) Said i drive Trucks but i wish that was all as i really now specialise in Chemical Transfer from portable pressure tanks as my Company doesnt want to train anyone else so its just me known as "Tank Division "- I dont need to bury the wife under the patio as a bath of some of my chemicals and there would be no wife  come to think of it no Town either.

Of course if there are some of us on here that are millionaires for a living i'm open for adoption :D

I'm an applications developer working for a Spread Betting firm. We offer bets on Sports and Financial products so the last year has been pretty mad in the financial world, and the sports business gives us a great excuse to have a TV on in the office whenever there's a big game / match / tournament on... :D :D :D

The gambling industry seems to be fairly recession-proof so I feel quite lucky at the moment as I have quite a few friends who have either lost jobs or are concerned about the next few months... :( better to be on the side of the bookies than the punters though - I've lost a few quid myself betting on the FTSE last autumn when it first took a nose-dive. If only I'd gone short  or just not gambled - I'd have enough cash for that Remus can...!

cheers,
Dom
