Hi every one

Had my Tornado for a week or two now and its great already very attached to it. I have been hunting around in the box of bits that came with it and found two little bars with round ends.

I believe that they are part of the rear suspension linkage. There are two on the bike stamped 136 and the others have no markings but are about a centimetre longer.

What I would like to ask which are the std ones ??

Will the longer ones raise or lower the back end ??

Max

bizarre

do you have a LE?, LE's had altered rear suspension linkage rods as they are a solo bike, the tre's had different ones to account for the increased weight of a pillion, maybe you have both ??

Unfortunately I don't have a LE just a normal Tornado, I bought it a couple of weeks ago to go with my Firestorm and it came with a box full of carbon bits and these bar type things that look like the links on the bottom of the rear shock but are a different length ????

Re: post a pic

My Firestorm wanted a friend to talk to in the garage and as she has been so good for a few years I got her the Benelli to talk to. I do think that she is a bit envious of the Benelli's looks though :D

Jeez

Whata mistake-a to make-a

You know what women are like when they're jealous...especially as you've got them in an enclosed space.

First they'll bitch about each other,
then attack each other,
then get pissed and tearful,
then decide that all men are bastards,
then neither will work for you ever again.

Schoolboy error!!!!

Re: post a pic

I know what the bits are now they are to lower the rear suspension. I was looking at another Tre today and it has the same ones that I have on the bike.

Talking of mistakes.... when I was umming and ahhing about buying the Benelli, I said to a "friend" that the Storm was like the wife dependable, reliable but a little bit mundane and the Benelli would be like a mistress a bit high maintenance, flighty and moody but well worth it when it works. Obviously you are now well ahead in this story and have worked out that I was grassed up to the wife who has since become moody, very high maintenance and does no work at all now.

Re: post a pic

Looks like your 'friend' owes you a tank of fuel and some flowers (for the wife) at least
