Benelli Imperiale 400 revs limit at 5K frustrating

Hello,

Not a long time ago I bought a new Benelli Imperiale 400 with no mileage.
Recently I finished running-in period and now the bike has 2K+ mileage, oil and filter were changed a couple of times already.
During running-in period I avoided high revs, but now as I can ride normally I noticed strange frustrating behavior.
While running on the road I see that revs get limited at 5000 (red zone starts at 6000) - the bike does not exceed this level, chokes. Idle revs are cut at about 6600.
Could someone bring some light on this problem for me?

Thanks!

I live in Indonesia and our fuel is so bad that after 1200 kilometer my check engine light went on, the O2 sensor , cleaned it and got rid of the code .... These EURO-5 engines are a terrible thing,

Anyway I install a free flow exhaust and a small fuel computer into my imperial, and a black piece of tape over the check engine light, ha ha,
