In order to get a feel for numbers for a potential Forum Group Buy, can you please advise if any of you are interested in these?

At this price, or cheaper, they have got to be worth a punt
You had better get your finger out Laurence! I am ready to order mine, as my wheel arrived today! (Did I mention elsewhere that I still need a back one?);)

They must produce thousands of these worldwide, so I am not sure that 1/2 dozen sets for us will get their juices flowing! Postage is where a saving could be made, as it is ÂŁ30 for a pair. Offset against which you would then have to mail them out individually, which is going to be a tenner at least.

What sort of savings are you thinking of?

Cheers:D

Ian

If I get enough interest for 10 pairs, I rekon I could do them for ÂŁ100 including delivery to the U.K. Add another ÂŁ10 for postage within the U.K. and you are looking at a 15% saving which can't be bad.

I would, but I fear that postage back to Oz would be the killer. They come from China, so postage direct to here isn't that bad, normally.

Light bulb moment!

Maybe, Laurence, I could get you to order a couple of cam chains from Orwell Motorcycles Ltd (again), and they could be packed together with the rotors ?

No worries on the cam chains Errol. I'll see if they would ship a set of rotors direct to you from China and, if so, I could sent the chains separately.

With me, Ian and Dom, that's 4 sets accounted for so c'mon guys, we are nearly halfway already

These rotors will fit many Ducati's, late Laverda's, Moto Guzzi's etc (they all are the ZC929 part#) so spread the word to your mates. I'll probably get a set from them again for the CR eventually just as cheap spares....hopefully before prices go up. Rotors are one of those things you would'nt consider having spares of because of the insane cost. Not so anymore. These are a no brainer!

I'm up for a set sure, just need to decide if I want gold or black rotors...
Oh, and Laurie, if u could just keep them at your place I will come over and collect them when I come over the pond for a short holliday this easter. Think that's the easiest way to avoid having to pay the tax-man. :D

Good plan. Count me in then if you can ship China - Oz direct.

Colin is looking for a chain as well, but if you are happy to get me a couple chains, like last time, I'll be happy as a pig in shit, and I won't bother Colin.
Wanna email me the details when you've got 'em?
I've got about 5,000 km before I need to change it, so plenty of time.

Ok guys I've had these on my TNT for the last year and there bloody great.
I know I know I haven't been on here for a while so sorry for the late info..:)
they work as good as they look,so go ahead and buy I say..for the price you can't go wrong

Hi Guys, don't be ordering any brake discs for now as I have contacted the guy to see if he's up for a Forum group buy.

Will let you know as soon as I hear back from him.
Saludos Laurence

I think that these discs are sold by different vendors and different prices. Because you do not try to get a bid, including also the rear disc

Don't forget the Titanium bolts to mount the rotors. I bought these from this seller in Hong Kong, got them pretty quickly. At less than 1/2 the cost of Racebolts sourced (here in the U.S.) bolts. Again, I read about worries of quality etc....the typical bashing and worries.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/M8-x-20mm-Titanium-Brake-Caliper-Bolts-2pcs-Ducati-/130486749420?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e619dc8ec They look good to me, identical to the bolts on the Benelli. I've used plain old hardware store (made in China no doubt) button head stainless steel bolts on my Laverda rotors, rode hard and did track days with them and never a problem, so these will be just fine.

Ok Guys, we now have 6 confirmed orders and possibly 8 if Ian and Ash confirm that they are up for them as well.

Many thanks to Madwog for the quality report and pics. Hopefully this will encourage anybody else that was considering them to jump at the chance as they really do sound like an opportunity not to be missed. I always wanted a set of bling wavy discs :D

Errol and JohnS can you advise what colour you want to go for in due course?

I've also enquired if the matching rear disks and Titanium bolts are also available form the same seller and will advise shortly.

I would prefer gold, Laurence....

Canary Trek mentioned a set of front and rear, but I didn't see them on those links. A non-floating rear should be cheap as chips if bought with the front pair - I would be interested in that.

Cheers:D
Ian

After careful consideration I think I'll have to go for gold...;)
