Rob

Well, lads, me and a few friends we're planning on doing a long weekend run next year somewhere, hopefully in Scotland for a couple of those days, so once you've argeed on the ideal time, Weather wise especially, I'll see if I can plan it around your date and hopefully spend one of the days with all you guys north of our Sassenach border  !

Rob

Hi Ian, as you are so kindly offering, then feel free to send me loads of cash, what with the credit crunch & Christmas coming up, we could all do with some extra cash !

When Exactly is this Scottish of all Scottish gatherings again ! Too long for me to search for it (Okay, so I can't be Arsed to look for it:doh: )

Just trying to see if it's a possiblilty for me to attend, assuming it doesn't fall on my weekend at work :bawl: !

Party On !

I was hoping to go but with my recent repair costs & some Mega vet bills etc, It'll take a wee while to recover from it !

On the good side, Rusty Russ  has finished my repairs & I can collect Nelli this Saturday, :ele:

Party On !

(I wonder if I can pay him in Copper tube, maybe a Combi boiler, Or a nice Bathroom !)

:rolling:

a Medal

Bob  , I think you deserve a Medal for this thread, it's gotta be one on the longest threads to date :D , can you imagine how long it would take some poor bugger to read all this from the start !

:rolling: :rolling: :rolling:

Fair play to you !

That certainly does put it into perspective Errol  so how many miles Or kilometers has your bike covered in Oz ! :D

mind you, I'd guess you don't have the traffic jams that we have over here in the tiny UK, in comparison, that can make travelling a nightmare even on a bike !

:D

Sorry Errol:bow: , I didn't spot your mileage at the bottom of the page  ! Not bad that, in English terms thats over 38,000 miles ! Quite impressive considering the type of bike it is, you must have a leather Arse !

:rolling:

:ele:

Well guys (& girls !) not long until your blast up north, the land of Nelli & Nessie, so I would like to wish you all the best and hope the weathers good for you all, don't forget to take some good scenic pictures with either the Nellie or Nessie in shot ! :D

If it's successful then maybe you'll have another one in 2010 so I can make it there

here's some cash for a Beer !

:rolling:

I must admit Laurence, as someone who doesn't generally do much more than check the oil & water, it would be ideal, once I've caught up with my latest little repairs I'll certainly look at purchasing one of those, I've tried different chain lube and it always seems to make a mess of my chain so I end up spending an hour cleaning it again !
