I have had this issue for a couple months now. It is driving me insane and noone is able to figure out where this sound is coming from. It sounds metallic and only happens when you go above 4500 RPM. I can only describe it as a zinging/buzzing noise.
Any ideas?

I have a sound at about that rev...I can hear it best if the is a building or wall right beside me. My leoncino 500 has about 2kkm on it...Ive heard the noise since new. Sounds like a rattle around the top of the motor....like a loose rocker arm or valve rattling. I havent figured out what it is yet.

It's the metal bracket that holds the coil-on-plug assemblies to the valve cover. The bolt is loose and it makes a ringing/vibrating sound that is annoying AF. Unfortunately tank and airbox removal are required to fix it. Or radiator removal. Unless you have tiiiiny hands.

Super expert advise my friend. Authorised service centre couldn’t identify the fault. I had to show them your suggestion and then they located the bolt missing. Not the issue stands resolved. Love from India

Hello ChopperChas ! could you tell me the number of the exact part you are talking about please?:D The image comes from the leoncino 500 trail parts guide that I found on the net. Maybe it's the number 8 ? Thanks by advance ! From France.
